Featuring wide-mouth design, 3 inch pipework narrowing to 2.5" where it meets up with the centre section.
Replaces standard downpipe and meets up with centre section. Complete with a replacement Cone/O-ring Gasket and Spring Bolt set.
Mandrel bent and tig welded with polished finish.
Manufactured in T304 Stainless steel with laser cut flanges. Manufactured for us by Exhausts UK Ltd
Important - UK Type Approval Laws
For vehicles first registered before 1 March 2001, replacement catalytic converters do not need to be type-approved. They must still function properly (e.g., pass the MOT emissions test if applicable), but there's no requirement for the specific type-approval marking that applies to newer vehicles. In this instance this product is legal to use on UK roads and assuming engine is in good mechanical order should allow the vehicle to pass current MOT emmission tests. This generally covers Impreza Turbo GC8 / GF8 cars up to X registration in the UK.
However please be aware that for vehicles first registered on or after 1 March 2001, any replacement catalytic converter must be type-approved (under regulations like UNECE Regulation 103 or equivalent). It's illegal to supply or fit non-type-approved ones to these vehicles. Classic Impreza Turbo GC8 / GF8 cars registered after 1 March 2001 could generally be on a Y registration plate in the UK therefore not legal for fitment of the product - therefore please check your date of registration prior to ordering & installing.
